"I've seen this industry evolve in ways no one could have predicted. What hasn't changed is the importance of the people — our employees, our customers, and our partners."

Greg Schube

Chief Executive Officer

Greg Schube has spent more than four decades at Dualite, a company that is, in many ways, a family story. His father, Frank Schube, took over leadership of Dualite following Bill Cobbe's passing in 1986 and led the company with a personal, hands-on approach that became part of its culture. Frank knew every employee by name and took genuine pride in providing a stable livelihood for the families that Dualite supported.

Greg grew up shaped by that same set of values. When Frank retired in 2012, Greg stepped into the role of Chief Executive Officer. Not as an outsider inheriting a business, but as someone who had spent his life inside it. His leadership reflects the balance his father modeled: stay grounded in what works, stay open to what's next.

Over 40 years in the sign industry, Greg has seen technology, materials, and customer expectations transform the business. Through all of it, he has remained committed to one consistent approach, collaborating closely with employees, customers, and vendors across every department and encouraging the people around him to think creatively and challenge the status quo.

Outside of Dualite, Greg and his wife Val are connected to their community through charitable support, including involvement with St. Ursula Villa and fundraising efforts for JDRF / Breakthrough T1D.

A Legacy Built on People

Four decades of leadership rooted in the belief that great companies are built by great relationships, with employees, customers, and partners alike.

Greg's leadership style isn't about issuing directives from a distance. He is known for working closely with people at every level of the organization, across sales, operations, manufacturing, and project management, to understand challenges firsthand and drive solutions collaboratively.

That approach traces directly back to his father Frank, who built a culture at Dualite where every employee felt seen and valued. Greg has carried that forward while steering the company through decades of industry change.

When Greg took over in 2012, Dualite was already one of the most established names in commercial signage. His charge was not to reinvent the company, but to lead it thoughtfully into its next era, embracing advances in LED technology, digital fabrication, and large-scale brand rollout programs while protecting the craftsmanship and service standards that had made Dualite's reputation.

In his own words from his 40-year milestone, Greg values the opportunity to work with great employees, customers, and vendors every day and takes seriously the responsibility of challenging those around him to think outside the box and push the industry forward.

75 Years and Counting

As CEO, Greg has guided Dualite through its 75th anniversary, a milestone that reflects not just longevity, but a consistent commitment to quality, innovation, and partnership.

Few people in the commercial signage industry can point to four decades of direct involvement with a single company. Greg's tenure spans the transition from traditional neon and fluorescent technology to full LED systems, the growth of multi-location national brand programs, and the expansion of Dualite's manufacturing capabilities to its current 500,000 sq ft facility.

Each phase of that growth happened under the watch of the Schube family, first Frank, then Greg, with a consistent set of values guiding every decision.

Dualite's 75-year history is marked by its ability to adapt without losing its identity. From serving its earliest clients in the Cincinnati region to executing signage programs for national brands like Chevron, Dollar General, Sherwin-Williams, and STIHL across the country, the company has grown steadily under principled leadership.

Greg's role in that story is not just as a steward of what was built before him. He is an active driver of what Dualite continues to become. Under his leadership, Dualite has deepened its capabilities in LED architectural lighting, expanded its national installation network, and earned recognition including the EcoVadis Sustainability Bronze Medal for its environmental practices.
