I am a husband, father, brother, son, and a good friend.  My wife Ashley and I are highschool sweethearts and have been best friends since 2002.  We have two beautiful children, one girl, Tesa & one boy, Lincoln. They are both goofy, independent and strong willed...like their mother.  I come from a very large family--I am the second oldest of seven. I like to be known as “the reliable one.” I am the guy that will drop whatever I am doing to help with something or just be someone to hang out with because you had a bad day.  I am the first college graduate in my immediate family where I was able to secure my bachelors degree in finance and also secure a scholarship for football. All my siblings since then have graduated or are close to graduating from college. I like to think I set the standard.  

When I am not working or being a husband/dad, I like to hang out with my best friends.  My hobbies are: slow pitch softball, “Monday Morning Quarterbacking” the Chicago Cubs & Chicago Bears, working out, boating, smoking some sort of food, and visiting craft breweries.      

Who am I professionally and what is working with me like?

The old saying, “ don’t take it personal, it’s just business” is not how I operate.

I take all of my customers and my job very personal. Working with me you will get a sincere and honest sales professional that is looking to help collaboratively reach a common goal.  I want all of my customers to trust me and allow me to help them reach their branding goals. I helped coin the phrase at Dualite, “On-time, On-Brand, and On-Budget.” I understand that trust is built through those key functions.  Helping deliver a project by the promised date, making sure the final product portrays a specific image and not going over budget is directly impacting how my contacts are being measured in their job. I want to be the conduit and a resource between two companies helping reaching a common goal.  With my outside of the box thinking and hard work ethic I know that I can help be an advocate for my customers and my company.

My Job Duties:

As a Regional Sales Manager my main job responsibilities are to inform and educate national, regional, and local companies about the need for branding, brand implementation, and cost effective lighting solutions. In addition to seeking future client relationships, I also focus a lot of my time on maintaining and growing my existing client base by providing them new cost saving ideas, introducing them to the newest industry technologies, and tweaking our internal program management structure to further enhance the communication and program management experience for our customers.

Some of my achievements since coming to Dualite:

Dualite has a rich history in a lot of industries, and in some specific fields, considered the industry standard. Since coming to Dualite I have been personally able to increase and expand our robust portfolio by bringing in numerous nationally recognized retailers and restaurant type customers.

With a strong professional background in signage & lighting maintenance I was able to help further develop Dualite’s suite of offerings by creating a more robust maintenance experience for current and future customers.  Since coming to Dualite we have increased our maintenance client list and expanded our footprint in the maintenance industry.

One of my strongest attributes, that has directly impacted my successful career as a sales manager, is my unique background  within the signage industry. Starting my branding and brand implementation career back in 2007; I have worked my way through numerous position within the industry.  My past roles included; project manager, account manager, and field manager. In those roles I was personally responsible for overseeing and managing millions of dollars in projects.  I believe my firm understanding of the “promise keeper” role has better served me as a “promise maker” when I am meeting with potential and current customers. Delivering honest expectations, clear understanding of the program process, and helping guide customers with best practice recommendations has been critical in my successful sales career.
