HIRING MULTIPLE CANDIDATES IMMEDIATELY: Seeking candidates for entry-level positions to support our painters - The primary function of this position is to prep and sand down materials in our paint areas so the materials are ready to be primed and painted. SHIFT: Four 10-hour workdays, Monday - Thursday from 6:00am - 4:30pm, with any additional hours at the overtime rate of 1.5x regular hourly rate.

Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Previous manufacturing experience or knowledge
Familiarity with sanding and painting materials
Any additional related or unrelated work experience, certifications, and skills will be taken into consideration
Demands of Position:
The demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:
Performs all work in accordance with safety protocols and ensures proper use of PPE when working with paint or chemicals
Frequent lifting and pushing of up to 50 lbs., repetitive motion
Ability to bend, kneel, work overhead with arms, and sit or stand for several hours at a time
Eye/hand coordination required, with steady and agile hands to operate equipment and tools
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Communication skills
Critical thinking skills and attention to detail
Ability to see and read a tape measure accurately
Main Tasks Include:
Using pneumatic handheld sanders
Preparing surfaces of frames or posts so that paint adheres better
Occasionally using tape to protect an area
Cleaning with Naphthene
Using carts to move signage and materials
Other tasks as assigned
