Required Qualification

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent management and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in accounting and tax preparation software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Proficient in Google suite
  • Preparing financial reports
  • Producing effective budgets
  • Maintaining account balances
  • Managing files and producing information for internal and external audits
  • Understanding accounting laws and regulations
  • Preferred: InforLN experience

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.
  • Ten years or more of related experience required.
  • Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Responsibilities

Summary: To assist with daily duties, financial reports, accounting department management and primary senior accountant duties including but not limited to:

  • Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare/review financial reports
  • Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, the general ledger and documenting business transactions
  • Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, capital, balance sheet statements and profit and loss statements
  • Audits contracts, orders, vouchers and prepares reports to substantiate individual transactions
  • Establish, modify and coordinate continual improvement to the accounting department and it’s employees
  • Interpreting information contained within the financial statements and maintaining a harmonious framework between financial statements, managerial accounting systems, cost accounting and budget accounting
